Incoming FFL Transfer Policy
Let the shipping dealer know you wish to have the gun transferred through ABIS Arms. If the shipping dealer needs a copy of our FFL, they can request one by emailing us at info@abisarms.com.
Notified us at info@abisarms.com or call 318.306.0946 and let us know that you are sending us a transfer. We don't want to get firearms in that we don't know who they are for!
To pick up your transfer, you must fill out the ATF Form 4473 electronically in-store. Photo ID is REQUIRIED when picking up your transfer. If you get a deny after completing the 4473, YOU will be responsible for return shipping to the sending FFL, along with a $20 packaging fee.
Our FFL Transfer Fee is $25 per completed 4473 (Up to 3 firearms).
Once the firearm(s) arrives and we have entered it into our system, WE WILL CONTACT YOU. Even if the shipping carrier (FedEx/UPS/USPS) indicates your transfer has been delivered, do not assume the item is ready for pickup. Depending on business volume, staffing levels, and when the package was delivered, it may take up to 48 hours for your firearm(s) to get checked in.
IMPORTANT – If you arrive before we call you to pick up the Firearm, we will ask you to come back. Our staffing levels do not allow for expedited service.
If you have not yet picked up your transfer after 30 days, a $25 Monthly Storage Fee will be assessed until you pick up your firearm(s). After 60 days, the transfer and firearm will be considered forfeit and will then become property of ABIS Arms.
If you decide that you no longer want the firearm(s) and want us to complete a return, you will be responsible for paying the $20 Packaging Fee along with the shipping costs and handling fees before we will initiate the return.
