ABIS ARMS / ONLINE STORE POLICIES
Privacy Policy
How ABIS Arms handles website, inquiries and online-order information.
PRELAUNCH PRIVACY NOTICE. The website is undergoing merchant review with ordering and payments disabled. This notice describes the proposed online-store data handling; service providers, cookies and retention controls must be verified before transactions are enabled.
Who we are
ABIS Arms, 709 North 9th Street, Oakdale, Louisiana 71463. Email support@mail.abisarms.com or call/text 318-306-0946 for privacy questions.
Information we collect
Depending on the services you use, this may include your name, contact information, billing and shipping address, order and refund details, product selections, messages and appointment inquiries, account credentials if customer accounts are enabled, and receiving FFL details necessary for firearm orders. Technical information such as IP address, device/browser data, cookies and site interactions may be collected by security, hosting, commerce or analytics software. Legally required transfer and recordkeeping information is managed through separate, controlled shop processes.
Why we use information
We use the information as needed to answer inquiries; confirm orders and eligibility; coordinate distributor availability, delivery, receiving FFLs and pickup; provide support, refunds and warranties; operate and protect the website; detect fraud; and meet legal, financial and firearms-record obligations.
Payment information
When online checkout is eventually activated, credit-card payments will be processed through an approved payment gateway, and its own privacy and security terms will apply. The website should not store complete payment-card numbers or card verification codes. The chosen provider and its published privacy notice will be identified once merchant approval is confirmed.
When information is shared
We may disclose information to authorized service providers only as needed for operations, such as hosting, payment processing, shipping carriers, inventory/order systems, customer communications, receiving FFL dealers, professional advisers, and government authorities when legally required. Receiving dealers have their own privacy and firearms-recordkeeping responsibilities.
Cookies, analytics and security
Cookies may support essential shopping-cart functions, security and preferences. Any enabled analytics, tracking, advertising or third-party embeds must be listed and assessed for applicable consent and opt-out requirements before launch. The final policy and any cookie controls will reflect actual active tools, not merely installed plugins.
Retention and safeguards
Information is retained for legitimate business, transaction, support, tax and legally required recordkeeping purposes and then handled according to applicable retention requirements. Appropriate access controls and technical safeguards will be used; no internet-based system can promise absolute security.
Your requests and choices
You may contact us to ask about applicable privacy rights, seek corrections, request deletion where lawful, or opt out of optional marketing messages. Some data must be retained for legal, accounting, anti-fraud or firearms compliance obligations. We will respond as required by applicable law.
Policy changes
Material policy changes will be reflected in the published version with an effective date. This document is a prelaunch draft and is not yet the operative policy.
